Owner & Teacher 

Bailee was born and raised in Texas, as a child she was spunky, creative, and always finding trouble. Bailee's journey in child care began in high school when she provided after school care to her teacher's two children. After graduation she went on to be a sleep-away camp councleor before her first year of college at St. Edward's University. During her first year at St. Edward's she took a job lead after school clubs at a local charter school. The following year the burden of college tuition was to heavy and Bailee was offered a job as a Co-Teacher in a Kindergarten classroom with the charter school. Bailee fell inlove with Early Childhood Education that year but she also recognized that traditional classroom were doing a disservice to children by resticting their free play and outdoor play to near none. With this in the back of her mind she moved across the country to Jacksonville North Carolina with her wife and rescue pup Ollie. 

In Jacksonville Bailee became a Registered Behavior Technitian and she provided ABA therpy services to children aged 18 months to 8 years old. A little over a year later, in the midst of a global pandemic, Bailee and Dionne welcomed their first son Mathias. Their family was now faced with the search for childcare, while this is difficult for any family, Bailee and Dionne struggled to find reliable care from people who were passionate about caring for children and this is how Muddies Playschool was born. Bailee is currently studing Early Childhhod Education at Coastal Carolina Community College and she intends to transfer to complete her Bachelor's in the field. Bailee is passionate about the use of data based practices to aid in the development of young children while supporting their families.
