Eating
Lots of learning happens around meal times. Meal times also offer a unique opportunity to practice practical life skills as well as social skills. We all sit together at the table eating a family style meal where the children are encouraged to take owernership of the experience.
Playing
Early learning should be playbased. Science tells us that young kids learn best when they are free to play with materials in their enviroment. Our curriculum combines multiple pedigogies to provide a variety of opportunities for kids to learn through play everyday.
Exploring
Your child will be free to explore the many components of our home environment. The home is a "yes" space, this means that the space is an environment that is safe for them to explore. Through exploration your child's instinctual curiosity will guide them through learning.
Learning
From practical life tasks like putting their belongings away and cleaning up a spill, to numbers and colors, I will act as a guide to your child's natural learning process. We don't need worksheets or workbooks to facilitate learning! We learn through play everyday.
